Nope, faulty fuel injector has nothing to do with vacuum. Be careful with a faulty injector though, it can lean out you A/F mixture and cause detonation, especially at full boost.Sounds like your smoke tester only tested the intake manifold. A boost leak tester (the one that's common in the Z community at least) takes the place of the MAF temporarily, so you can listen for leaks in the piping connecting to the turbos and intercoolers as well.
